Struggle and Triumph

Struggle and Triumph" is the second project from the course, intended to be abstract and focused on the use of principles and elements of art to convey the battles of eczema or any chronic illness. My personal symbolism for this piece is the battle of good and bad, healthy and sick, wet and dry. With this piece, I wanted to explore the harsh visualizations of life through art. The use of white represents soothing cream. As it glides down, it soothes a flesh-toned otherworldly surface, creating a powerful and disturbing visual experience. This piece was inspired by personal experiences.
